Our story

It started with a
birthday surprise.

And a little idea to make something unforgettable.

  1. The first game

    For my husband

I’m a game developer, and I’ve always loved creating interactive experiences. So when I wanted to surprise my husband on his birthday, I didn’t want to send just another ordinary greeting card or e-card.

I wanted to make something different.

The title card of the husband's birthday game: “A Journey for Nonn” on a pixel-art road
    The opening screen
The first message card along the road, “The Road Begins”
    The first hidden message

I created a little game with personal messages hidden throughout the experience. Something he could play, explore, and enjoy — a small surprise made especially for him.

  2. Not just for gamers

    For my Dad

Dad's birthday game: a gardener in a straw hat walking a flower path toward a glowing heart
    A slow garden walk
A message card that reads “Happy Birthday, Dad!”
    A message at every stop

Then I made one for my Dad. I wanted to see if someone who wasn’t a gamer could enjoy it too. And he could! It reminded me that you don’t have to be a gamer to enjoy a little interactive surprise.

  3. California to Japan

    For my best friend

Then there was my best friend, who lives more than 5,000 miles away in Japan while I’m in California.

Sending a physical gift wasn’t always easy. She often changed addresses, and I couldn’t be sure she’d be home when a package arrived. I wanted to give her something personal without worrying about shipping, delivery schedules, or where she was living at the time.

The title card of the best friend's game: “Boom's Sakura Journey” on a cherry-blossom street, in English, Thai or Japanese
    In English, Thai or Japanese
A memory card that reads “Where It All Began”
    Sixteen years of memories

So I made her a little game, too.

  4. A name

    “Wow!”

When I sent the first birthday game to my husband, his reaction was simply, “Wow!”

He was also the one who gave me the name NeverForget.

The idea was simple: Never forget to send something special on someone’s special day — and give them a moment they’ll never forget.

    That’s how NeverForget began.

  5. Today

    Now it’s your turn

Today, I want to share that same experience with you. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, thank-you, or just a little reminder that someone matters, you can create a personalized mini-game filled with your own messages and send it anywhere in the world.

No shipping. No installation. Just pick a game, add your messages, and share the link.

Because some moments deserve more than an ordinary card.

    With love,
    The creator of NeverForget
